BPSU Weekly - August 31, 2026
If we expect our Union to stand up for us, then we must be prepared to stand up for our Union.
This week’s BPSU Weekly carries one message throughout its pages: our strength comes from our members.
The President’s Pen updates you on the fight to protect pensions and calls for members to be seen and heard.
The 100 Stops Tour continues to take the Union directly to the membership.
We’re building peace, strengthening connections and keeping you informed about what’s happening across your Union.
But this Monday, September 7, reading is not enough.
Labour Day belongs to workers.
Every benefit we defend.
Every agreement we negotiate.
Every right we protect.
Every gain handed down to us came through workers who understood that there are moments when you have to show up.
This is one of those moments.
Wear your red. Bring your family. Bring your poster. Bring another member.
Come out and march with YOUR Union.
Because a Union cannot demonstrate its strength with empty streets.
Grab your coffee, tea or whatever gets you going, settle in and catch up on what’s happening in YOUR Union now.
But on Monday we need you at the union at 8:30am!
Members at the Heart: Engage. Empower. Evolve.
Onward and Upward Together. ✊🏿
