EDUCATION COMMITTEE

The BPSU Education Committee is a Standing Committee established as per Article V – Organization; 2 (f) General Council of the Constitution of the Bermuda Public Services Union.

 

The purpose of the committee is to advise and assist in developing the Union’s Training and Development policy and programme as well as education and training initiatives for the public services and the wider society.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

• Promote continuous education for members and the wider society.

• Assist the Education Awards Committee

• Assist the Training/Research Officer

• Oversee the structure of Future Leadership and recommend future leaders to the Executive Committee

• Co-ordinate a mentoring programme
